Audre Lorde

I write for those women who do not speak, for those who do not have a voice because they were so terrified, because we are taught to respect fear more than ourselves. We've been taught that silence would save us, but it won't.

Collide...

I saw,
And hoped,
I'd go
You know?

So good,
The hood,
I should
Commute

She skin,
I lean
begin...
To sink in

Do you know?
The lone
Won't moan
Alone?

Coz you are
The one map
I'd wrap
Round my lap!

You and I
Collide

  2. Collide's about two women who seem so compatible in love...but unknown to them whatever tends to bring their skins closer is what makes their love fall apart.
It the knowledge that we can never have everything our way Sharon!
Its about two women...so much in love...but things will never work out.
